Emberfall Saga

Emberfall Saga is the kind of RPG that feels made for phones without feeling cheap about it. Battles are turn-based, so you can pause mid-fight to think, answer a message, and come back. The story follows a caravan crossing a dying continent, and the writing carries real weight for a mobile title.

Character building is where it shines. Each party member has a small skill tree, but the choices actually matter, and respeccing costs enough that you commit to a playstyle. We built our healer into a surprise damage dealer and the game let us break it in a good way.

The whole campaign downloads once and runs offline. On a six-hour bus ride we cleared three chapters and never missed the internet.
